Mind racing with questions?

Take a deep breath and get your answers.

During your first session (and every session onwards), you can expect to feel heard, supported, and accepted without judgment. You’ll walk away with new insights and perspectives about your challenges and worries that only your intuition can access and feel lighter, relaxed, and lifted.

For complex and stressful issues, I recommend at least three EFT tapping sessions. Once you feel comfortable with the coping techniques we discuss and more confident in your ability to use them, occasional monthly sessions may be all you need to move through life’s challenges. Some clients only come when they need a “tune-up” and others like to have sessions scheduled weekly or bi-weekly.

EFT tapping can help address stress, physical and emotional trauma, fears and phobias, chronic physical pain, anxiety, grief, and loss. It has also been known to eliminate Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

EFT should not replace professional medical help. I consider it complementary to traditional talk therapy.

Some studies have shown promising results regarding the use of EFT for conditions like anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), phobias, depression, and chronic pain. EFT is often used as a complementary or adjunctive therapy alongside conventional treatments.

Yes! I was trained and certified by Rob Nelson and Amy Piper of Tapping the Matrix Academy.

Yes, you can absolutely do EFT on your own. I actually teach my clients how to do this. However, you will find the true power in EFT is to be guided by a practitioner.

EFT practitioners understand how to ask questions that lead to your core emotional issues and can share an outsider’s perspective on your challenges and desires. Not only are they available to reassure, guide, and process with you, but they also know extra tapping points and techniques that aren’t always available online or in guidebooks.

Before there was EFT, there was Thought Field Therapy (TFT). TFT was developed by American psychologist, Roger Callahan, who dedicated his time to helping people heal from fears, traumas, and stress disorders. Callahan believed that when a person considers an experience or emotion, this thought turns into a “thought field.” The thought field, in turn, serves as a real structure upon which people develop explanations and beliefs.

Callahan then combined the use of tapping for emotional problems while simultaneously focusing on the problem at hand and discovered that if a person focused on a specific fear of their own at the time they tap, this fear could be removed, often permanently.

Roger Callahan then trained Gary Craig, who then simplified the process and in the early 90’s, developed what we now call EFT/ Emotional Freedom Techniques. Along with being the originator of Emotional Freedom Techniques, Gary is a Stanford trained engineer, a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, and is trained in other forms of Energy Psychology.

Somatic describes approaches or practices that address the body's role in emotional experiences and behavior. Somatic therapies and psychology recognize the mind-body connection and take into consideration how it impacts emotions, cognition, and mental health.

Somatic Experiencing (SE), developed by Dr. Peter A. Levine, focuses on resolving and healing trauma by addressing its effects on the body. The practice is built upon the idea that trauma is stored in the body and that by accessing and processing physical sensations, it's possible to release the trapped energy associated with traumatic experiences.

Coined by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, "flow" refers to a mental state where an individual is fully immersed and deeply focused on an activity. During this state, people experience a sense of energized focus, complete absorption in what they're doing, a sense of timelessness, and enjoyment in the process itself. I focus on helping individuals optimize their abilities, skills, and mindset to achieve peak performance and experience this state of “flow.”
