For a long time, I was convinced I would never heal that part of me that was hurt–or feel safe in romantic relationships again.

Because of that belief, I disconnected from my own creativity and feared being seen too closely, or worse—being rejected for who I was. I became deeply depressed, reactionary, and constantly stressed.

I couldn’t focus or participate in my life. I couldn’t make decisions. I couldn’t grow and prosper and thrive.

I knew something had to change. That I needed to find a way to return to my highest self & reconnect with my body so I could live the life I dreamed about.

EFT tapping kick-started my healing journey. It helped me neutralize the intense emotions around my trauma. It helped me unpack what was really underneath all my feelings and outbursts.

EFT tapping gave me clarity on my story and I finally found relief after living 7+ years in chronic stress & survival mode.

Now, I help people like you—people wishing, hoping, and wanting more out of life—reconnect with themselves and release the emotional baggage that makes them feel like their desires are so far out of reach.

Years of my own pent-up shame and wounding after a sexual assault and the traumatic relationships that followed brought me to EFT therapy.

Because you can change.

You are brave enough.

You aren’t too broken or unlovable.

Things don’t have to be this way.

And you will get there.

When we commit to doing the self-work and making our inner worlds more peaceful, we can create a world that looks the same.

To change the world, we must look at ourselves first. To quote a deeply-influential writer in my life:

I’ve spent the better part of a decade investing in my own work and healing and am trained in the following areas:

I studied Behavioral Psychology at Pepperdine University and am certified as a Flow State Coach by the Flow Research Institute.

I’ve found that as an artist & writer that embodying my true nature, listening to my intuition, and embracing my creative flow have all helped tremendously when it comes to working on my craft and experiencing fulfillment.

My healing work has led me to an inspiring conclusion:

Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.

The Non-Negotiables

Behind My Work As Your Guide

Creativity

Growth

I'll make sure you remember that you’re a magical & creative human. (Even if you're not an artist…yet!)

Our growth isn't always linear. Experiencing the spiral of healing may be confusing at times, but I’m here to remind you that everything can be leveraged for our highest good and expression.

Authenticity

I welcome all parts of you to our work. And I bring all parts of me, too! We can be funny and serious. Light workers and club rats. Bold and humble. We allow all of us to exist.

Balance

Healing work doesn't have to be all "work" and no play. I promise to bring levity & light to the hard stuff. We get to enjoy the process.

Willingness

If you're ready, so am I. I walk with you through the shadows and darkest parts so you can emerge brighter than before.

client stories

Not only is she the most kind, empathetic, resilient, and beautiful human being but she has a remarkable ability to hold space and make you feel so seen and heard. I always leave our sessions feeling so supported, held, and remarkably better than when we started. She provides immediate relief and teaches me skills that I can implement whenever I need them, giving me the confidence to handle whatever life throws at me. Through our work together, I’ve learned to feel my feelings, face the darkest parts of myself, and to have courage. I have a newfound sense of security and safety within myself and I am entirely different person than I was at the start of this year. I owe it all to Tess."

"Working with Tess has been life changing."
